Destructible environments

has anyone been able to simulate any formes of destructible items in their projects.

What types of destruction are you trying to do? There are considerations to take into account depending on your answer.

If you want simple destruction (Non-Destroyed Mesh and Destroyed Mesh) this is do-able in UE4 as demonstrated by Tesla’s vid linked above.

If you want more complex destruction with multiple layers and support portions you’ll need to create this using PhsyX Labs from Nvidia.
