I have used the UDK Editor for some years together with Blender.
It is SO COOL !!
I have today about 10 animation movies on Youtube. (jorgen112@live.se)
But when updated windows 10 to Creators update, the UDK Editor fails to work well.
It is not stable as it was.
(I know that UDK is not supported anymore, but it would be nice to use it still.)

If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. UDK is not getting updated anymore.

I know this post is quite old but I would like to point out what is causing the UDK to crash. Is not the windows 10, is crashing even on Windows 7. The problem is the NET Framework 4.7. Unfortunately if you have the creators update the NET Framework 4.7 is going to be incorporated inside it and cannot be uninstalled easy or at all.
As you know UDK was build to work with NET Framework 4.0 and updated almost until NET Framework 4.5. NET Framework 4.7 is new and creates many problems for many other programs as well. try to uninstall 4.7 and place 4.5 and it will work without crashing.
