Cyber War - Multiplayer Online Game / server-online 24 hours a day

Project Title: Cyber War - Fight To The Last Man

Description:
It’s a multiplayer online game. The game built upon a free-to-play business model. The focus is on player vs. player gameplay with each player controlling an armored hover vehicle, which may be a light, medium or heavy. The objective is to destroy enemy troops and completing the mission either by destroying all hover vehicles on the enemy opposing team or capturing the opposing team’s base… The player takes control of a single hover vehicle of their choice, and is placed into a battle on a random level. The player has control over the hover tank movement, firing, and can communicate with allied players through chat. The goal is to survive and keep the human race from extinction, breaching the heart of the enemy defense, while contending with traps, artillery, drones, robots etc.

Now it is time we take the next step. I’ve decided to launch a test server for those who want to play. Perhaps there is still much to be fine-tuned, tweaked and redone, but there’s no reason for further delay. Feel free to report errors and issues you find - I will correct them all over time. The Primary goal is to find funding and people who will believe in the future of cyberwar and want to help it become better and better. I put everything I knew in this game. Having over 21 years of experience in CG/IT and 6 years in programming, I did follow the steps they take at big-time studios but, like Sinatra, did it my way. All the work took about one year and has been great fun all along. I have spent roughly 350 dollars and a lot of time to make this prototype. I hope you like my idea and enjoy the game. The idea for the game has been concocted since 1998 and this is just a small part of what I want to present to you. If you have time to play, please give it a run, leave your feedback and thoughts - this will make me very happy. The server will be available by the date I have specified below. The site address is IP so it is cheaper and faster to manage the server. You need to register and download the client, which you can do at this address **sync3d.com **Remember that this is only alpha version of the game all graphics and game play logic will improve over time.

Concept art:

I like the idea and would perhaps offer my skills as a UX / UI designer. But I would like to ask, why are you guys not offering royalty? Or are you not planning to make any profit from this game whatsoever?

Cheers

reminds me of the classic Battlezone, looking good!

Nice work! Looks like a fun game!

This is how my alpha test user registration and validation system will look like.

An early alpha CyberWar release is already available for download on weekends, where you can try the game and fight as a team against your opponent on a test server.

The final game title will be available directly before the release as for now “CyberWar” is a temporary solution. Please be aware that much of this is unfinished and doesn’t fully reflect the final product.

If you have time to play, please give it a run, leave your feedback and thoughts - this will make me very happy. Remember that this is only an alpha version of the game all graphics and game play logic will improve over time.
