Hi y’all.
A plugin I downloaded isn’t working on the latest version of Unreal, and the engine is telling me to rebuild them manually? Does anyone know how exactly I would go about doing that?
- You need Visual Studio 17/19
- Create empty C++ project
- Place the plugin in Plugins folder of
the project (create the folder if it
doesn’t exist) - Open the project in VS and Build
(Ctrl+B) - Pray no errors pop up
Alright, I’ll try that. Thanks.
Hey. I tried what you said. Unfortunately, I did get an error and the build failed. Where do you recommend go from here?
What is the error message?
You should contact the plugin developer.
Yeah, that’s exactly what I did. They said they had no Idea what I did wrong. Honestly, I’m really stumped here.
Have you tried verifying your engine version from the launcher? And then delete the plugin and re-download it.
I did try deleting re-downloading the plugin, yes. It didn’t help at all, though.
As for verifying the engine version, I’m not sure what you mean by that.
Verify from the launcher
