I have a pawn in 3rd person that is my protagonist and i controll it. It’s collision is an horizontal capsulle (because a vertical capsulle it’s not adient for my game). All works fine until that I program the rotation of the pawn. When my pawn rotates and he are near a wall it stucks in it and I can’t move. I don’t know if this is a collision problem or a problem with the blueprint rotation.
I attach the blueprint of my rotation and a video showing how my pawn gets stuck
id say its the way you implemented rotation. the set rotation node pretty much ignores collision.
And there’s another way to do the rotation??
I am not sure why you created a new thread for the same problem and then linked the original thread to this one. I did a lot of work on that last thread and even though none of it turned out to be what you wanted it would be helpful to maintain continuity for the community so that everyone else can see what was attempted and what was wrong with each attempt. You are starting this over from the beginning and I am sure someone else will offer similar things as I have said before and that isn’t what you want. So in the interest of saving everyone some time trouble shooting this issue here is the link to the original thread.
I hope you get some new answers, but let’s not ignore all the previous attempts.
You are right, sorry about this, I wanted to add some photo and video and decided to make a new post.
Haha, yea I added the link in my comment. Just trying to help you get some answers quicker. And I think it would be beneficial to anyone reading this to see what we have already tried. That’s all.
