Hi, I’m geting 50~60 fps in editor but it have a little lag each 5 seconds exactly. In stand alone packages i don’t got this problem, it just happening in editor even if i don’t interact with anything it have this constant lag each 5 seconds.
My configs: Win7 64bits, i5 2500K, Nvidia560TI, 8GB Ram.
Any notice about it?
Does this happen across multiple projects? Also can you send your log files located in \projectname\saved\logs\ so that we can better understand what is going on? Thank you and have a great day!
I tried to update the driver for the last release (By Nvidia Geforce Expericente ) but it caused no effect and i keep with this annoying lag each 5 seconds in editor, view3D and so on… I got a GPU widget profiler and it looks that the GPU usage decreases from 90% to 10% each 5 seconds ( the exactly time that lag happen ). Look, i’m getting this bug only in Unreal Editor, when i deploy the game or in any outer 3D program i got a smooth fps. Any news about it?
For notice: I got this problem too even if only the Unreal Project Browser is open. Moving the Sliding Bar up and down i got the same lag each 5 seconds. So i think it can be some Slate related issue
We were able to get a reproduction of this issue and a report has been filed. We do not have an immediate solution, but it has been put forward for the developers to assess. In the meantime, please let us know if you come across any additional information.
In case anybody searches this and doesn’t find the answer, my solution was as simple as disabling shadowplay through NVidia. So I would recommend trying to disable any screen recording software.
