Why am i getting the error Assertion failed while importing a static mesh from maya 2014?

PLEASE HELP is this also a driver related error??
I was trying to import a mesh with multiple objects in it and is abt 1,06,555 poly faces.

Thank you for reporting your crash and apologies for the wait.

There are some known issues that affect FBXs when imported. Can you try importing your mesh and unchecking the default import option for “Generate Lightmap UV.”

There is a known issue (UE-3032) that causes the editor to crash with FBXs when generating the Lightmap UV.

Try turning that off and let me know if that resolves your issue.
