Datasmith import: Failed (C4D)

Hi,
probably this has been asked thousand of times, but I can't find a solution. I am trying to import C4D (R20) files. I did the most simplest composition (Just a cube) and saved as Melange.

Datasmith import: Failed to import '../../../../../../.....Test.c4d'. Failed to create asset 'Test'.
Please see Output Log for details.

I am a total beginner in Unreal btw...

What am I doing wrong?

Did you enable the Datasmith and the Datasmith C4D plugin?
And I'm using C4D R21 with the 'Save project for Cineware...' export. Not sure if the Cineware option is new to R21 (it's my first C4D version I'm working with), but that may help?

Hi.
Yes, the Plugin is enabled. I think it has to do with my Mac (MacBook Pro). I tried on a Windows Computer and there it did work....
