    Extended Facebook Online Subsystem is a plugin for Unreal Engine 4 that integrates the Facebook social network for all platforms (using embedded UMG widget) and iOS & Android (using native Facebook SDK). It implements Online Subsystem so you can use available features exposed by this and/or special functions and Blueprints nodes designed only for Facebook. Plugin covers all Facebook functionality, including login and logout, requesting permissions, users identity, users avatars, inviting friends, getting list of friends playing your game or not in order to invite, game requests, achievements, leaderboards, sharing, and Open Graph stories.

    Extended Facebook Online Subsystem plugin helps you creating social and interactive games by integrating features from Facebook for Games.     WARNING: Facebook removed some functionalities due to Cambridge Analytica scandal and it means these functionalities also don't work in the Extended Facebook plugin because this is not technically possible. We are working on adding new features to this plugin and have plans to release big update in the future. Confirmed functions that currently don't work: Share Post, Share Image, Open Graph Story, Achievements, Leaderboards. Other functions work as intended including Share Link Content and Share Photo Content.

    When I try calling login with facebook from a blueprint, instead of opening a browser (with deep linking), it tries opening the relevant facebook page in the game, then complains: "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can." HTML5 support is not so important for us now but fyi the app crashes when login with facebook function is called.

    I followed the guide you published so settings should be fine.

    You can download it from GitHub repository on releases tab or your Sellfy dashboard (for Sellfy customers). Update also was submitted for UE4 Marketplace but it needs to wait for approval.

    I saw the bug in the log when i build for Ios :
    /FBSDKcoreKit.embedframework.sh No such file or directory
    /FBSDKloginKit.embedframework.sh No such file or directory
    /FBSDKshareKit.embedframework.sh No such file or directory

    Where can i download or update this ?

    Hi

    Sorry for my English

    I use the plugin extended Facebook 2.11.1 on 4.22 and that's compil very well. But on mac, there is a crash when i compil. When i disable the plugin i can compil well the app.
    I can see where is the log.txt on the mac folder to see where is the bug

    I don't understand if i must install :
    • Facebook SDK for iOS updated to 5.2.1
    • Facebook SDK for Android updated to 5.1.0
    Or if the plugin have already install the Sdk


    Someone had got this problem ?

    I installed gameDNA installer, run the install Extebded Facebiij and that s the same bug

    Hi" awesome plugin, but i'd like to know if is it possible to download the Facebook avatar in a higher resolution, the one i'm getting is really low res, something like to download the profile picture also would be nice, thanks bunches!
