                    It looks nice, but I think your animation is really unrealistic. You can't just hold such a crossbow in one hand and tension it with the other hand. Theres a reason why that model has the metallic thing on the front:



                    There might have been some crossbows that you could tension while holding them in one hand, but the one you modeled is definitely not one of those. For that model you have to use a foot.

                      It mite be unrealistic but i still perfer it, having a animation like that would get frustrating in a game plus its a FP mesh there are no feet lmao.

                          You'll be happy to know that we have animations of the foot in the stirrup coming for the other crossbows. That being said, you don't know the specific draw strength of this crossbow, it could be a 300lbs bow in which case simply bracing the crossbow against your body would be enough to load it back with a goats foot lever, so it's hardly fair to say that the animation is reallly unrealistic. I've spent 6 months watching videos and speaking at length in 1 on 1 sessions with experts and I'm happy with what we have here as a compromise between 100% accuracy and something that would work well for a broad variety of games that would make use of a crossbow like this. I hardly think that most first person shooters using crossbows would want a 10 second reload animation, but like I mentioned we are going to be implementing the animations for them soon.

                            That is a damned good point.. Hard to put a foot into the stirrup when we aren't providing feet with our weapon packs
