    [RELEASED] HG Puddle Decals

    Hello fellow devs.

    For all of you who need a quick way to add puddles in your scenes we have created "HG Puddle Decals". Decorate your scenes by easily adding water, mud, blood or any type of puddle to them. Just drag and drop them into your level and your done.


    Make the puddles be still or create a subtle moment of the surface with the included normals. Change the color of the liquid to make it look like anything you like, water, blood, radioactive pool or paint. Change the intensity of the puddle or control the fall off to make the puddles as filled as you want.

    The decals have been designed to be used in any surface be it small or large. That's why all the textures come in five different sizes from 512 x 512 to 4096 x 4096.

    As always our asset packs are created with existing asset packs in mind.

    All other assets shown in the screenshots besides those found in "HG Puddle Decals" are for demonstration purposes only and are not included in this asset pack.



    UPDATE 1 (June 2018)

    Updated the functionality of the master material. Better implementation of emission.

    UPDATE 2 (January 2019)

    10 new puddle designs.
    New material for mobile.
    All textures added at a 256 x 256 resolution.
    New naming scheme for easier asset sorting.

    Update 1 was released.

    I edited the master material to better implement emission and improve the look of the puddles overall. Thank you for your feedback.

      All asset packs were updated to work with 4.21.

        Our decals now work on MOBILE. Just make sure you are using the M_Decals_Base_NoDB material. Cheers

          Update 2 was released.

          HG: Puddle Decals has been updated. You will find 10 new puddle designs, a new naming system to help you pick assets easier, plus all the textures are provided in a 256x256 resolution too. Hope you enjoy it. As always restart your Epic Games Launcher to see the update.
