    [RELEASED] Damage Indicators

    Hey,

    Just here to showcase my Damage Indicators blueprints.



    It got rejected as they "did not feel that these packs would add anything new or at a higher standard than what is already available."
    Anyway, looking at other damage indicators in the marketplace all i could find was camera facing text render methods, whereas this is widget/screen location based and can take advantage of widget features such as animations, outlines, drop shadows etc. You can of-course set it to whatever font you prefer and change it to basic text without outlines/shadows.

    Set font/outline materials/animations as well as other things like screen location for each element. In the video you can see the Cure element uses "Actor Location"(damage displays center of the actor), No element uses "Hit Location"(damage displays at hit location) Fire and Critical uses Local Hit Location (Damage displays at hit location and will follow the actor)

    Here are the features list:

    Font and Outline Materials:
    You can adjust the font and outline materials per element.

    Text Animations:
    Bounce
    ZoomAndRise
    StaticFade
    Static
    HeatWave
    Strike
    Quake
    FastZoom

    Animation Structure:
    You can adjust different animation options as well as the outline size for each element. Options like:
    Outline Size
    Loop animation On/Off
    Destroy After Animation On/Off
    Destroy Duration
    Play Speed
    Vertical Offset Speed
    Horizontal Offset Speed
    Shake Value
    Screen Location

    Damage Indicator Screen Location:
    Hit Location: Indicator will be located at the hit location.
    Actor Location: Indicator will be located at actor location.
    Local Hit Location: Indicator will be located at hit location relative to actor location.

    Offset Speed:
    Offset speed determines the speed range that the indicator moves away from it's inital location. You can change vertical and horizontal speeds.

    Shake:
    Shake determines the range in which the indicator will shake.

    Plans for future updates:
    More text animations
    Scale text based on distance

    Awesome! yah. the asset team is sometimes strange... There are sooo many medicore assets which arnt updated anymore and good stuff like yours are getting rejected. Keep up your great work!
