    Movement of the gimbal

    Hi there,

I wanted to make a suggestion about the movement of the gimbal. There was an asset I was trying to move the other day and the gimbal was halfway across the screen. Trying to move an asset without getting in nice and close is horrible. In maya you'd press "D" and then "V" to snap to the pivot point. I really think this would be an awesome and very helpful thing to add to UE4.

    Hi,

You can temporarily change the location of a pivot by Middle Mouse Button clicking on the white sphere at the base of the transform.

You can find it demonstrated here in the documentation along with vertex snapping if you want to snap the temporary pivot location to a specific vertex for easier function.

I hope this helps and is what you're looking for.
