Ue4 crashes every time I use it

I've haven't been using ue4 for very long, and for the first hours, nothing happened. Then I started getting random crashes every 30 minutes or so where trying to close it will freeze my whole pc, and I have to shut it of and back on. Now it happens almost immediately when I click on something after I open a project so I can't get anything done. I checked that my drivers where all up to date, verified the instillation of ue4, and tried disabling my antivirus. None of those worked. Can anyone help?

What's your RAM / VRAM like? How is your paging setup? Are you using SSD? It's a bit hard to troubleshoot anything without specifics. Unreal typically dislikes it if you have very little RAM so for example if you only have 4gb of RAM, it will probably crash every time you boot it. If it's been a while since you've used it, have you installed the latest version?

I have 16gb of ram, I am using SSD, and I do have the latest version. I actually found that moving to another project works for an hour or so until it eventually starts crashing immediately, also I've noticed that after using the blueprint editor for a few minutes it sort of starts off the pattern of crashing when I open it.
Edit: Moving to a new project only worked once
