    For UE4, Steam is a third party library. Unreal doesn't build or run on Steam. For a shipped game, Steam is a platform to be sold on. Context matters.
    Steam doesn't fall under UE4's definition of a platform.

      I wonder why can't Valve make a plugin that does it all? They do it with Steam Audio.
