I have a suggestion. You should make an option that disables aesthetic animations like that little flashing green circle and that sets the default option for animation preview to off and disables realtime preview of the viewport and also very important to disable custom thumbnails for the animations and blueprints and skeletons etc. Or is there already such an option? I d really like to know about it.

You can click in bottom right of content browser and disable realtime preview of thumbnails. Same can be done for viewport, click top left and explore that menu a bit, you will find what you need and lot of other cool stuff there..

Is there an option to disable all 'Real Time Viewports' which are on by default? I want them off by default, because wasting power for nothing.Comment
