I'd like to find a blueprinter to work with. Have a couple good ideas. I can do 3d art and anims.

Question re: Assets.
I'm creating some materials and textures for my project now. If I use reference photos from CGtextures.com as part of the process of making the textures but build on it to create something new and unique does it still count as being made during the gamejam? Is that something I should disclose when I'm doing the submission?

I would like one of the requirements posted clarified, if possible:
All art assets in the game must have a material other than the default applied to it.Last edited by CrimsonIndustry; 10-08-2016, 03:43 AM.

For example, Highschool 101 used this kind of mention when they used lots of sourced textures:

@Alexander Paschall
I've never been in a jam before so I have a question on how far one could go with interpretation of the theme. I mean, I assume that is part of it otherwise it would be more black and white than that. My entry is a play on words but both words "settle" and "score" are both used correctly in the sense it matches the definition of both; just not so obvious at first (since its a play on words). If it can be defined as such or if a dictionary can be used as a background to my game design angle, am I okay? Should I include a README and would it be even read? If anyone in the forum can comment on this too, I'd appreciate any kind of answer.
TLDR; I'm confident in my interpretation but I'm just wondering if a play on words is acceptable.
Thanks.

Is anyone with some Animation-skills willing to join me? The (by now only) task would be to make a walk cycle and some attack animations. The model is already rigged, but I'm not very experienced with it either, so you have to take a look at it and eventually remake it. The model and textures are finished and I'm more the programming-guy anyway. I just finished a simple gun system, enemy spawn logic and some other essential stuff. You can either PM me, write me an email (janis.reinberger@gmail.com) or find "Janis Reinberger" on Skype.
