I'd join in if I could just for the pure fun and opportunity to push myself and learn more, that alone is a prize that's hard to put a dollar value on.

For this, are we able to use music/sound that was developed before the start of the competition period?
Can we have our company logo developed prior to the competition at the beginning of the project as a splash screen?
Can we use concept art developed prior to the competition period?

Looking forward to this! Got a rough idea too.. What timezone is the closing time on?

            **EDIT

Also, by midnight on the 26th, do you mean before midnight 27th?

            Cheers!

Correct - maybe should say 11:59:59 pm?

To clarify for everyone - Sunday is fair game!

We're not going to get terribly deep into investigating the inception of sound, splash, and concept art assets. Our judgement criteria is focused on theme use, fun, and visuals.

Hey Swift, they didn't say you can't so I assume yes! But I doubt a game everyone knows your working on before won't be counted. Just show what you can do in 3 days, Unreal, let us know if we can't because I planned on it!

Edit - I see the answer, cool I'm just using a few old props. All the BP and actual game mechanics will be new for this comp!

Well I will say this: I think I'm going to be enjoying this and any future ones. I'm liking how it's forcing me to learn some things (at the moment lighting) on the fly.
