Are we required to enable 'Include prerequisites installer' or can we disable it for our game jam submission?

If you're going for the "The Tiny Award", you don't need to have the prerequisites in the build. But I would suggest to include them if you can squeeze it if someone who doesn't have them installed downloads your game.

You can use premade assets, you just need to declare them in your submission.

Can we use the starter content? And will the game be judged differently if you use starter content or marketplace assets?

Yes, you can use any premade content, you just need to declare it. Yes, it does affect scoring.

*sigh* I come to check when the next game jam is, and it's 2 days into a 5 day run.
I'll have to try to come up with something fast.

I am also concerned about the 100mb file size. Looking at the bare minimum build I can get UE4 to make, there is a 62mb Engine folder that contains system files which I presume cannot be removed. That leaves 38mb for actual game, which isn't much. My current build has only a couple textures, and a small level and it still takes 200mb just for the pak. Looks like the 100mb limit is very hard to reach. But I feel it would be impossible if you don't exclude to 62mb Engine folder.

Out of curiosity did the itch.io page not get updated properly or are they getting rid of the leftover megajam shirts?

When submitting at itch.io it asks for
                              • Team Name
                              • Each Team Member's Name and Email Address
                              • Game Name
                              • Name of your submission
                                • Please format your the name of your .zip file with your team's name attached, ex. TeamName_GameName
Where do we enter the Email Address? Is it ok to submit a *.TXT File in the *.ZIP File with the credits when marketplace stuff were used?

EDIT: Ok, I got it. I'm new to itch.io, didn't knew about the options after uploading and setting the game to "public".
