    Is anyone else having problems with the tooltips getting maximized full screen and making everything pretty much impossible to use?

      I have a strange bug since 4.25.1: each time I open a windows FileDialog (for instance to import an asset, or to select a package destination), UE crash. oO
      Anyone ever encountered that bug?

          Yes, same issue, and my 4.25.2 is crashing non-stop. If i create new material or open an asset it crashes. Anyone have a solution, or same problem? Everything was working perfect until i upgraded.

            To get an answer to your issues, like your previous posts, you need to report them with the link provided in the very 1st post called "How to report a Bug" and it is the official way to report bugs.

              Was 4.25.1 removed?

              I no longer see it in the update options pull down menu.

                For what's worth, Microsoft ended support for Windows 7 on January 22.
                It's not a bad idea to consider an upgrade to Windows 10 for game development. Especially that DirectX 12 is almost fully supported in UE4

                    Started getting this issue today, but I've had 4.25.1 for a couple weeks now. I suspect the forced windows update I woke up to this morning, the crash dialogue is has mentions of windows_storage. All my hard drives have plenty of space left.

                    Edit: Able to repro with a new blank project too.

                      Found a UDN thread reporting it was related to p4exp. Tried updating p4exp with no success but after uninstalling I'm no longer crashing.

                        looks like the material layering system is completely broken now even tough it is stated that it got some improvments in 4.25

                          I can confirm that it happens on a blank project, and I also updated Windows 10 not so long before having the crash.
                          StrayDorian : interesting, I don't have Perforce installed on my computer but maybe it has something to do with source control software in general? I've got git and Plastic... Hard to uninstall them to test though. It happens even without source control enabled in the editor. Curious to learn more as it's a serious problem (crash happens 100% of the time).

                            iOS - In App Purchases Nodes Issue in 4.25.1

                            IAP V1 with bUseStoreV2=False
                            ->Query Purchases - Make IAP - Restore IAP - Read IAP = Returns null

                            IAP V2 without bUseStoreV2=False
                            ->Query Purchases - Make IAP - Restore IAP = App Crash
                            ->Read IAP = Success

                            Tests were done with Shipping/Distribution build on AdhocProvisioning Profile on 4.25.0/1

                            There are no issues with Android and no issues for both iOS and Android on 4.24 with v1 nodes

                              I can confirm that, UE4 Editor 4.25.1 started crashing right after installing Windows 10 Update 2004. Before to this update, Unreal was working properly without any crashes.

                              Unlike StrayDorian's case, I'm getting plain D3D12RHI errors, not windows_storage errors.

                              Code:
                              Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0xffffffff

                              UE4Editor_RHI

                              UE4Editor
                              UE4Editor
                              UE4Editor
                              UE4Editor
                              kernel32
                              ntdll
                              In order to repro the issue;

                              1.) Create a blank C++ template.
                              2.) Set Project Settings -> Platforms -> Windows -> Default RHI = DirectX 12, and restart the editor.
                              3.) When the Editor launches press Play, and play the level for a few seconds... Then, press Escape, and stop playing.
                              4.) Close the Editor... Instant crash!

                              Regarding the issue, I have submitted a bug report yesterday using the Bug Submission Form. No ticket, yet.

I am on windows 7 and beleive that could be the problem. What I am really wondering is will this effect my project if i use 4.25 anyway ? or will it cause me issues later on ? or will it effect only the Microsoft App store stuff outside of the engine ? any possible solutions for this ?
                                Same problem and questions for a windows 7 computer...
