Unreal Engine 4.25 Preview

    With Chaos completely broken on 4.24, can we expect fixes in 4.25? I'm really confused as to the development process of it.

        Me too, I re-varified, and that didnt help, reinstalled it, nope. I then logged in as admin, and it launched just fine. Im still logged as admin, will go back to usual user soon to see if it works now.

        edit: running "as admin" or changing user to full control etc As normal user causes crash still. I need to actually login as Administrator, to get it to launch. Even if I am and admin. I am win10 Insider, so could be other issues.

            same. can't even open 4.25... Do they even test this before sending out copies? LOL

              My pc only has my main admin login. 4.25 does not open.
              even after restart atc.

                  Frostic, can you make a new user? I tried also making a new user with admin Privileges and it allows me to use 4.25. I wasnt comfortable staying logged in as the real Admin.

                    I noticed the the codeworks is not in the extras folder. Are there new settings required? My Quest and S8 are not detected. Anyone have any luck?

                      how many times do they have to say CHAOS WONT BE IN THE ENGINE UNLESS YOU COMPILE FROM SOURCE.

                        yes i'll try that but it should NOT require making a new user.... if it does then unreal engine is going to die very fast.

                          this is because this is only a preview build. usually preview 2 has these things added. as long as you installed it from 4.24 it should still be there.

                            so i found a work around to get the engine to open, uninstall 4.24 prerequisites, Restart install 4.25 then its prerqs will install, then restart and the engine runs......... lol way to go!
                            now i can't install 4.24 again LMAO like WTF

                            can't seem to have 4.24 and 4.25 installed at the same time. what a rip.

                            so after reinstalling 4.24 now 4.25 says it needs reinstalled. ROFL Great Job! time to fire whoever was recently hired. it feels like a unity dev got a job for unreal to destroy it and push ppl to unity by breaking everything.

                              There is no "iOS" option under File -> Package Project, even though I have the iOS platform installed in the options. Does anyone else have this issue?

                                Any information around this? https://vimeo.com/389887439 Lightmass on GPU feels like a long time coming as lightmass is still a big pain point for iteration
