            Feedback some questions(RTX):
            1, opaque or translucent material properties shadow can not penetrate

            2, the material properties will change to purple after the following modes

                  Hey,
                  is there anyway to get correct shadows with a masked material with Raytracing? I only get the Polygonshaped shadow.

                      Nope. Masked materials are not supported by RT shadows yet.

                        After the 6th update, the editor won't start with ray tracing enabled. It always ends up with this msg in the Crash Reporter:
                        Code:
                        Assertion failed: ShaderRef != 0 && *ShaderRef != nullptr [File:D:\Build\++UE4\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\RenderCore\Public\Shader.h] [Line: 1887]
                        This happens even with projects created with this version.

                          Same problem as above, Raytracing is not working on this preview (at least as before).


                          Edit: It worked after compile all the shaders with the Dx11 default shortcut, after finish the compilation, I've opened the editor with the -dx12 shortcut and raytracing worked.

                            the black sky problem solved , ray tracing working perfect again with preview 6. the freezing problem I had on my laptop on the main monitor when the dx12 is enabled unfortunately continues. it works when an external monitor is connected on the gpu. it could be perfect if someone who had the same problem somehow managed to solve it and lets me know. there were some people on the forum who had the same problem, but they didnt write back when I pm'd them. its real sad

                              So u managed to open the editor with no crash in preview 6? I always crash if i enable raytracing..

                              EDIT: nevermind i saw Joseph's post....what a weird workaround to have raytracing going on...please Epic make DX version switchable
