For me, I was in 4.17.1 and upgraded to first 4.18 and now recently to 4.18.1. In both updates, my blueprints cannot be nativized anymore, while in 4.17.1 they were. The problem I get in all my generated files is the same :

UATHelper: Packaging (Windows (64-bit)): D:\Projects\GuardianSpirit\Guardian_VR\Intermediate\Plugins\NativizedAssets\Windows\Game\Source\NativizedAssets\Private\C_MotionPawnFSM__pf2559089560.cpp(1328): error C2440: '<function-style-cast>': cannot convert from 'initializer list' to 'FBlueprintDependencyData'
UATHelper: Packaging (Windows (64-bit)): D:\Projects\GuardianSpirit\Guardian_VR\Intermediate\Plugins\NativizedAssets\Windows\Game\Source\NativizedAssets\Private\C_MotionPawnFSM__pf2559089560.cpp(1328): note: No constructor could take the source type, or constructor overload resolution was ambiguous

Is it known and is there a workaround for now?

Also, the shadercachetool solution not being able to build that I have to remove manually as described in https://answers.unrealengine.com/que...om-source.html is a hinder to production. Is there a way to disable the adding of ShaderCacheTool to from the main UE4 solution?

    Thanks!

Anyone had an issue when upgrading from 4.17 having all of there destructible meshes stop working? Not sure why but every destructible mesh became unusable...

Destruction is plugin now, turned off by default. Simply turn it off
Please carefully read release notes before/while upgrading, there's a lot meaningful details

I see why people was complaining about performance. In 4.17, with nothing in the scene, I'd get 120fps on my GTX 970 in the editor. Now it never reaches 90fps.

EDIT: found out it was because I was sharing the screen with a friend through Skype.

            Hi,

When I updated to UE 4.18.1, my Landscape Grass Type stopped working - no materials on the foliage instances. WTF?

I'm only getting about 15 fps in template projects on 4.18. Was able to do VR with a steady 90 in 4.17.

Any info about 4.19 release data or its current development status?

Tried the update, the mentioned 4k mouse hit location problem is still very much a problem. Bug report here:

                  https://answers.unrealengine.com/que...ck-locati.html

Is there a way to use 4.18 without the 4k support?

Guys, they usually take 3 months for the next release. Often longer, 4.18 was the only recent release prepared in 2 months.
So, just add 3 months to the last release date and that's your minimum waiting time.

As said by others, you should expect a release date like end of January, but I bet we will see at least a Preview version before the end of the year.

Hi, i'm receiving a fatal error with 4.18 when trying to cook out a project that uses the onlineframework plugin. The UE4-LoginFlow.lib is missing from the launcher build. Posted here for visibility, as it has been posted in the answerhub as well. I did find other answerhub post stating the same problem, but the fix was to not use the plugin... thats not a real answer for the problem. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem as Devero. Can't package my project at all in 4.18 (or 4.18.1) due to including the OnlineFramework plugin. Same occurs in a blank project.

I recently updated from .13 and had lighting artifact issues (lots of black stepped lines etc) becuase Im using dynamic/movable lights for the Skylight and main Directional Light as I need time of day.

Now, in .18 the artifacts are NEARLY gone..!
Is this an intentional fix? If so, could someone point me to the information in the fix/feature list please so I can check it out?
It was a dealbreaker for me as it was so bad, but now it's much much better- still there but much more subtle.

I can't find any referance to this being fixed anywhere- unless I've jumped the gun too early as I've yet to do extensive testing.
