XZ vs YZ? - 2.5D Side Scroller

Hello,

I am working on a 2.5D Side Scroller, what do you think should be the forward axis, do you think it even matters?

In the default Third Person Side Scroller template is has YZ, Y left/right and Z up/down.

In the default 2D Side Scroller template they have XZ, X left/right and Z up/down

The Engine uses X+ for forward so I thought that I would make that the forward for the player, X- Left and X+ Right(forward) I thought that it would be easy to get information from Blueprint nodes, like get forward velocity.

I sure would love to hear your opinion on this, what do you think would be the best and why?
