World machine material layer help


I’m trying to import my landscape from world machine to UE4. I got the landscape down, but when I import my mask layers (telling UE4 were to place this one texture) but instead of placing it where the mask tells it to UE4 places it everywhere? I am currently running UE4 version 4.0.2.

I think you are looking for material layer blend.

You can use it to mask out material layers with alpha mask. I’m using it here with material functions.

I messed around with all inds of blends and found the landscape blend worked best for what I wanted to do, thanks for the input.
