hello all Myself Sanidhya I am developing a game in Unreal engine 4.26.2 and there is a notification that pops up “compiling shaders” I cant save my materials I am now frustrated now I just waited to compile but the shaders always increasing by 100 even I didn’t made a single change does anyone have a solution for it? I have a quad core (2 core) pc.
It sometime progressive, like doing in a batch tasks. It will eventually be able to compile everything if you don’t open anything else.
You will need a better cpu to reduce the compile shaders time.
edit btw I solved the issue for anyone wondering how just go to your ue4 installation directory and there open ‘BaseEngine.ini’ now find asynchronous shading and turn it off or set it to false now see the magic and I think this works with ue5 also
