Why is GEditor->GetSelectedComponents and GetSelectedComponentsCount() always 0?

The notification for scene changes on editor modes happens every time selection of actors change.

I spend a while researching but seems like there’s not much to be found.

Every time you select an actor, the root component is selected, but the getSelectedComponents list is empty and the count 0.

  • When is this supposed to work?. Root components don’t count?

  • How do you get notifications on components selection change in an editor mode?
