Why cant you adjust texture scale on "wall" or "floor"?

I noticed if I start a project with walls and floors provided, you cannot change the texture scale like you can on a brush box, or did I miss it?

What are the differences between a wall/floor and a brush box that is stretched (which I can change the texture scale on.)

Curious why on a floor you cannot change the scale when this seems sort of important for matching textures up.

Brushes/BSP are different from static meshes, if you want to change texture tiling on a static mesh then you either have to change your UV mapping of the mesh in your 3D application or you can adjust the UV tiling in the material in UE4.
