Why are the new TRS Gizmos in 5.4 so bad?

This post is a pretty golden example of how NOT to get developers to listen to you and to instead become distant.

Software isn’t perfect, it will have problems, people will make mistakes.

Being disrespectful and unpleasant isn’t something people want to put up with, especially if all you want to do is call them out in a really unreasonable way, because people will shut off and not listen to you, even if what you say is correct.

Please don’t act like that when giving feedback. It’s better for everyone if you just deliver feedback maturely in a civil way.

For the record, the TRS gizmo definitely needs more work, but it’s better than the default by far, especially when it comes to the ease of selecting the right axis to manipulate. Hopefully we get an update on having the Gizmo orient towards you, similar to the modelling gizmo. That’s definitely the main thing I’d like to see from it.
