Update: I actually found it in windows after some digging, and opened it directly from windows instead of through the launcher, but mine doesn’t look like everyone else’s from the tutorials, somehow. I have rolled back to 5.0.3 to ensure mine is the same as the tutorial creators, so that shouldn’t be an issue, unless the asset packs are held separately somehow.
Isn’t the VehicleAdv supposed to have loops and curved tracks and barrels and stuff in there? I’ve looked at multiple tutorials and they ALL begin with it looking like that, exactly the same map with the exact same assets, so I know they haven’t custom created anything. Different tutorial creators too, so that’s out. I double checked everything to make sure it wasn’t me being an idiot.
So I guess the question now is: does VehicleAdv contain more track components than just the single base track in Vehicle (as in, not advanced)? And if so, even though they haven’t appeared automatically for me, how do I find them? I think that’s probably the best way to go about this. If they exist somewhere that can be dragged into the scene, then I don’t need them to just pop into the template. So the question I guess is twofold now: where can I find those assets, and how do I tell my project to recognise their existence?
