When a new version of the engine releases, what do you do to port it, if anything?

Hi,

When a new version of the engine releases, what do you do to port it? I guess you could migrate all assets, but that would be time consuming and wouldn’t include any C++ code you’ve written.
Or is there some magic “upgrade project” method, which points to the new engine source?

I’m curious as I haven’t gone down this road yet, but plan to.

Hey Stephan,

You just right click the uproject file and ask it to generate projects (there’s an option to select a different version), alternatively if you ask it to load an old version with a newer build it’ll ask to update I believe (I use the other method).
