Hello! I’ve been trying to get into the C++ side of things and, fortunately, there are good Epic resources online to start doing this.
I was following along the Battery Collector youtube tutorial (For version 4.9) but I can’t seem to be able to make components created in code appear in the editor.
Then I went to the documentation to do some programming quick start guides (Also for version 4.9) and the same problem happens. If I create a pawn with an associated camera and mesh, these components will not show up in the editor when I drag the pawn to the level. (A similar thing was happening with the battery collector tutorial and several other people where reporting the same problem in v4.10). These components won’t even show up in the details tab, under the categories set in C++.
So what changed between 4.9 and 4.10?
I’m using Xcode 7.2, UE4.10.0 (Built from the github source with Wwise integration) and I’m on El Capitan 10.11.3
