What about tessellation on landscapes?

So I understand removing hardware tessellation but I feel like there should be a way to tesselate landscapes. Heightmaps from external software can have spots where the polygons are obvious and spikey. I always used tessellation to smooth those out but because that’s not possible in UE5, I have to remove those details manually with the smooth tool. I understand if nanite replaces hardware tessellation but I can’t find any way to enable nanite for landscapes. Or am I missing something?
