Weird shadows in clear glass and how to remove them?

Hi friends,

I am doing a glass material rendering and having unreal shadow underneath the clear glass, the glass opacity is 0 and shouldnt cast the dark shadow.

I also tried different light sources, set the glass material to be Two Sides but still no luck.

Any advices please?

@leoletsrock Hi there, I can try to help you out with this. To start, let’s figure out what type of shadows this is casting. In your project settings, are you using Virtual Shadow Maps or Shadow Maps? What is the light source in your scene? Could you send over any other information you might have regarding light or shadow settings? Any default values you have changed?

Another setting to try toggling is “affects distance field lighting”
