Weird emissive flicker when objects stop moving (video/gif inside)

Seems more like a bad material.
possibly, are you using Time in it? That may cause the time to loop when physics pauses / puts the object to sleep.
In gif 2 it appears to flash white periodically…

Does the time node do that?
