Weapon charms UE4 Packs are authored by Frederic Fouque and Victoria Passariello, Under the name SwiftLoop.
We are Senior 3D Environment Artist and Senior 3D Hard Surface Artist respectively, both of us working freelance mainly for the Video Game Industry.
After a couple of collaboration on multiple projects, we decided to create together a series of Packs dedicated to Weapons Charms in order to speed up your game prototyping, and or use these charms in your final games.

Pack released on the Unreal MarketPlace:
- Pack 1 : Weapon Ranked Charms
- Pack 2 : Weapon Country Charms
The pack contains 20 customizable Charms to use for your weapons. Each charm represent a country of G20 + ability to customize and create your own color / material variations.
The Weapon Charms Packs are composed of multiples Skeletal Meshes for each variation already setted with a simple Rig, and Physics already setup.
Using customized Material, you can create your own variation, playing with colors, Dirt, and Material Parameters.
A mask texture has been created in order to modify different parts of the model with a tint.
You can setup 3 different Tints + 1 Grim tint.
Each Pack already contains few examples of Instanced Material derived from Master Material and some customized charms created using the Blueprint Method.
If you want to create your own variation, you have multiple solutions :
- Simply modify the existing Material Instance available in content browser.
- Create your own Material Instance from the master Material.
- Use the blueprint parameter
