VR Proximity

In VR as I do to define the proximity of an object.

I can grab an object and give it the desired volume, but I do not know how to sharpen its trace.

To make you understand I have a door or a drawer and to use its knob, but I would like it to have a more sensible sensitivity and be grasped like a calamity.

Any suggestions?
