Volumetric Light Shafts


I am new in rendering section. I have added Height Fog and Spot Light and enabled volumetric mode. I have also tweaked some values but I cannot get desired effect.

I have added window with some wooden planks - first of all I wanted to have light shafts that are affected by wooden planks. So far I have gotten to the effect I have on uploaded photo. Probably my scattering value is too high - but without it I can’t seem to get any effect at all.

What should I tweak? Density? Light strength? Or some other values?

Make sure the light casts volumetric shadows.

Ok I had to make a light movable - after that I only tweaked fog density and I got desired look!
