virtual scan for complex 3D geometry

I have a complex 3D model including several mesh objects with different materials and textures.(including unuseful inner parts) Is there any way to virtual 3D scan that complex data to create a single mesh surface with one texture, similar process when we scan real objects with 3D scanners?

I’d start by importing the meshes into UE and then experimenting with the Actor Merging functionality.

There’s an option for ‘Merge Materials’ for “Merge” and “Simplify” should merge Materials by default.
