Video Material w/alpha

Hi everyone,

my goal is to create a video material that displays with an alpha channel everywhere that the video is black. So far I’ve found success by setting the blend mode to additive and piping the videos alpha into the materials opacity channel (last step might be redundant). So great, now I have a translucent video material that you can see through, where everything black is transparent, but I`d like to give a lightboost to the things in the material that aren’t transparent, ie make them more visible… is there any way to turn up whatever the RGB channels are doing while maintaining the transparency?
