Vertex Paint Smoothing?

Not sure if this has been asked/answered but i couldn’t find an answer anywhere.

Is there a way to ‘smooth’ similar to the Landscape tools when vertex painting a mesh?

Even with the brush intensity as low as you can set it the difference when painting is too intense and I’d like to be able to make the transition between the vertex colors more gradual.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Normally it should already paint a smooth transition -> check your paint settings (Falloff). Otherwise post a picture of your material :slight_smile:

I should have re-phrased my post - The material is setup correctly and it does paint with smooth transitions if i adjust the falloff but the intensity is too high even at the lowest setting - The lowest intensity which works is 0.2, anything lower is treated as 0.

I wasn’t sure if there was a shortcut to ‘spread’ between channels/weights which is what i was looking for.
