Some more info about this and some specific cases we’ve noticed:
- This seems to happen primarily when players are forcefully disconnected from a session. (Full game crash, power loss, network connection loss).
- When a player joins back into the same session they were disconnected from, their stats are more likely to be reset, whereas joining a new session they may have their stats.
- After joining a public session and seeing their stats reset, they back out and queue into a private match, and their stats are restored.
- Their stats are reset on one platform (PC), but if they queue into a session from another platform (Mobile) their stats are restored.

It is incredibly saddening to get dozens of messages every day from dedicated players who have lost hundreds of hours of progress and we feel completely helpless. It’s ruining the UEFN experience for many players, and is hurting our confidence as developers to build amazing experiences for our players.
