I’m new to UE4 and tryin’ to start out with a racing game using the Vehicle Advanced template, Blueprints only. I’d like to change the tire friction while ingame and couldn’t find a direct option in Blueprints to edit the ‘Friction Scale’ field in the Tire Type Asset. Changing this manually while not playing gives me the desired result but I have to do it ingame for gameplay purposes (to stabilize a drift car in high speeds, to be specific). I also tried playing around with the Tire Friction field in the Phys Mat but for some reason, it doesn’t seem to make a difference at all, despite claiming to be ‘multiplied by our parents’ values’ (Dunno what that really means, but I thought it’ll amp that tire friction from tire type asset). Can anyone please help me out here and point where I might be going wrong?
TL;DR - How to change Tire Friction ingame using Blueprints?**
