Using Sobel Edge Detection in Maps.

Hi Guys…Hope all is well with you all.

I have some questions about creating Maps with the Sobel Edge Detection effect.

Should I create the geometry first in the map using various tools and then apply the effect or is there a way to build geometry within the Unreal 4 Editor and then apply it.

Are there special properties that have to bee included in the actual meshes that you import?

Please forgive the actual question, I am totally in the deep end with all of this…
