Using F Keys for Saves

I wan to use the F1 through f12 keys for a save file system but it looks like unreal has preset ideas for what the keys should do. Is there anyway to change that and make it to where those keys aren’t used by default.

Do you mean that those keys have preset editor functions when using “Play in editor”?

In that case look in Editor Preferences>Keyboard shortcuts.

They also have preset functions when playing in a standalone version.

I looked in the Editor preferences>General>Keyboard Shortcuts and found nothing pertaining to the problem.

Update those keys have none of the previously mentioned uses once you package the game.
