Upper Body Remains Facing the Attack Direction, Even if Moving in a Different Direction

All of my character’s attacks animations are upper body only, so that the player can run while attacking as well. It’s top-down, and players click in the direction they attack. It’s supposed to make it so they can kite enemies.

The problem is, they will do the first frame of the attack in the proper direction, but will then turn and face the direction they are running. So players can not truly attack in a direction opposite to which they are running.

I can’t seem to find any setting to lock my upper body’s animation rotation for it’s animation duration, nor can I find any solution online. Trying to blueprint it myself so far has been a little out of my scope of knowledge. Any ideas or suggestions?
