Updating Steamworks SDK without entire remote team updating source?

Hey all,

I’m currently working in a remote team and I’m going to need to utilize some updated features in the latest Steamworks SDK soon. Some of the team aren’t using the git source version of the engine so I was wondering what the best method to approach updating the Steamworks SDK would be without breaking the rest of the team’s implementations. Does anyone have an opinion of this?
