Unreal IK Limits settings from 5.3 broken in 5.4?

When it comes to retargeting animations in UE5.0, 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 there is a built in Full Body IK Solver that you can set up for a Skeletal Mesh.
However when it comes to 5.4 (and it seems like 5.5 as well), the behaviour of the Solver have been changed destructively, meaning that working settings in 5.3 are completely broken in 5.4.
The most problematic part is IK Limits. I was just not able to find anything that describes, how to use them correctly in 5.4. Any value used behaves strangely, or has no effect.
(For Clarity: Add Full Body IK → Select a Bone → Add Setting to Selected Bone → Limits → Select ‘Limited’ for a given direction, and play with the Min and Max values.)
So, are IK Limits behaviour have been intentionally changed in 5.4 (and 5.5), and if so, how to set them up so they behave similar as they were in 5.3 and all other previous versions?
