I downloaded the promoted branch the other day and I am enjoying 4.12 at the moment. I’m having fun with it with the Oculus Rift DK2 and I was looking for the convert to instance and found the VR Instanced Stereo, It took a while to reload the first time as I have a i5 Ivy Bridge and 16GB ram at 1333. But the performance boost was jaw dropping impressive. But while I am building the dummy prototype, I did notice that if it is on a standard 1920X1080 monitor the render is pixelated. So if I decide to make a game for both VR and monitor I can’t enable that unless there is a function exposed via blueprint.
Also, once the VR Instanced Stereo was enabled. the standard fire content in the starter content wasn’t running the full animation. it was only showing bursts of it. I don’t know if it is all particle animations but I will find out in a few days when I try to make some spell particle animations for my dummy game prototype. The other bug I did find with it is that the Make Transform kept zeroing itself out. So when I was trying to spawn a actor and set the position for it to spawn, every time I pressed enter it would go to 0.0 on all the XY and Z.
