Hi ,
- Does this occur in a clean, blank project with no additional content or is it limited to one project?
- Was this project/map created in 4.10 or was it created in a previous version? If created in a previous version, did this crash occur as soon as you updated to 4.10 or was it working initially?
- What steps did you take just before the crash occurred?
- Can you upload your logs here? They can be found at \Unreal Projects\PROJECTNAME\saved\logs\
- Did you add anything specific to the map in question before this crash started occurring?
Hi !
Fortunately i’ve been able to solve my problem by:(In order)
-Loading a backup of the .umap and .uproject from before the “issue”
- (previously made a copy) Deleting the folder where my project housed all the textures ( previously made a copy in other directory)
-Opening the project from the launcher
-Opening the map from the in-project menu
-Restoring the folder where the textures where ( either copying from other directory or a backup)
-Closing the project and opening it again
I don’t know whether this played a part in me fixing the issue but i “unticked” the project’s directory folder Read-Only property.
Thanks anyway and I hope if anyone has a similar issue they can use this post as i’ve seen multiple recommendations from the staff in several posts to just “create another level”
Cheers!
